The following products from PS Flood Barriers® have been tested and passed the 2020 FM Approvals 2510 Standard (ANSI 2510). The limitations for Maximum Rough Opening and Maximum Water Height only apply to products receiving the FM Approvals Label.

What Is FM Approvals?

How Did PS Flood Barriers Achieve FM Approval?

FM Approvals tested PS Flood Barrier products from PS Industries® Incorporated to the FM 2510 Approval Standard, also known as the ANSI 2510 standard. The initial step included a physical quality inspection of our PS Industries’ manufacturing facility and an engineering review of our product design. Then FM Approvals conducted the physical barrier testing to include hydrostatic load and leakage, as well as impact testing. Upon completion of the physical barrier testing, FM Approvals conducted laboratory materials testing of various components. Once the results were compiled and evaluated, PS Industries received certification of “FM Approved” for the PS Flood Barriers products that were tested. To ensure the validity of the certification, FM Approvals conducts quarterly in-plant inspections to ensure quality conformance, design/manufacturing consistency and FM Label control.
